Role & responsibilities
  • Set up (programming) and operation of lighting systems
  • Set up (not creation) and operation of AV media for centrally produced show content
  • Take, record and manipulate digital images and digital video footage;
  • Liaising and working with visiting artistes and engineers
  • Control transmission, broadcasting and satellite systems for television and radio programmes, identify and solve related technical problems;
  • Operate scanning equipment to transfer image to computer and manipulates image to achieve the desired effect;
  • To have a working knowledge of DMX on the set up of new show support or effects
  • Assist with the creative element of the performance through lighting and audio visual
  • Assisting in the setting of stage scenery
  • Inspire and motivate other team members with passion, energy and commitment
Gross Salary £ 27,600 p.a.
Qualification & experience required Successful applicant will strong technical background across all AV disciplines in film/television industry.

Role & responsibilities
  • Work with the client to put together an event delivery plan and map finances for the team
  • Conceive and lead a project management timeline for the events, working to clear pre-set timelines and financial objectives
  • Engage with internal partners across External Relations, the Director’s Office and research colleagues to make the events a success
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusivity in all our events and lead on audience makeup analysis to continue to improve on this as an institute
  • Coordinate event promotion with the marketing team,
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues across the institute and external partners, working collaboratively with others.
  • Lead the team in the delivery of events, troubleshooting any issues that arise and delegating where appropriate
  • Coordinate post-event communications to client and participants
  • Organise a post-event analysis meeting with the team and report on findings
Gross Salary £ 28,600 p.a.
Qualification & experience required Successful applicant will have either a degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience.
